About Somali Books

Somali Books is a digital library for Somali knowledge: schoolbooks, literature, history, health guides and practical skills, written in Somali or for Somali readers.

Our motto is Discover. Read. Preserve. We want every Somali reader, at home or abroad, to find good books quickly. We also want writers and teachers to have a simple way to publish their work and keep it available for the next generation.

How it works

• Readers browse, read previews, download free books and buy paid books.
• Contributors are approved writers, teachers and publishers who upload books for review.
• Editors check every new book before it is published.
